  1. Hi Greg,

I just listened to your latest podcast. I am not sure that alcohol is the solution. By using crops to produce alcohol, more and more farmers would turn their land into corn crops. Land that could be used to grow food would be use to grow fuel. Big companies would buy land by the hundreds of thousands of acres were corn would be the only crop. Also, food prices would go up as this process takes hold. I am always wary of things that look too good to be true.

    • Hello,

Thank you for your feedback. Did you read Busting The Ethanol Myths, Myth #2? http://alcoholcanbeagas.com/node/490. It’s an excellent response to your concern. I agree in that I always question everything. All I know is we each have to take action in our private lives to decrease our dependence on big oil. Ethanol is a big step in that direction. It puts power into the hands of local farmers. Just today I mailed my alcohol fuel producer permit to the federal government.

Thank you for listening to the podcast. Please share the link if it’s worthy of your effort. – Greg
