129 DSR – What You Should vs What You Could

if you could
Voicemail from Anderson in Boston, MA

What should you be doing?
What could you be doing?
What’s the difference?

The world (should), convention, tradition, routine, the past.
The spirit (could), potential, possibility, power, the now.

The great dichotomy
dichotomy – a division or contrast between two things that are or are represented as being opposed or entirely different.

The great lobotomy
Cut out of your life what you think you should be doing and start doing what you could be doing.
What you want to do.
What you love to do.

Debt can be an excuse for not living your life.
I can’t, I’ve got bills.
When I get the kids thru college, then…..
When we pay the house off, then…..
When I get that raise/promotion, then….
Being debt free, removes the excuses. If you want it to.

Fear makes you the observer and not the participant. TV allows you to watch people do things extremely well instead of doing them badly yourself. Thank you Tom Hodgkinson
