“Mountain Hours” Currency -Time to Reflect on Value of Paper Money
This blog is inspired by the above article that can be found at:

“Since 1914, we’ve borrowed every dollar into existence.
We pay interest on every dollar in existence.
That interest is paid to a private bank, the Federal Reserve.
The world’s largest banks, not the government, own the Federal Reserve.
The United States can’t pay off its debt . . . it can only borrow more to pay the interest.
Our government created income tax so we can pay this interest.” – Mike Maloney

Is the real secret to financial freedom found in spending less?
That’s up to you. One size doesn’t fit all. Give it a try. Don’t spend any money for a week unless it’s food or gas. See how it makes you feel.

Is becoming minimalist a poverty mindset?
Is learning to live with less going to make me feel poor?
Some say yes, some say no. What do you say?

How much stuff do we need?
Is less more? Is less, less? Advertisers would tell us we need more. If we don’t continue to buy, they don’t stay in business. Whose best interest do the advertisers, merchants, & media have in mind?

Three simple questions to ask yourself about capitalism:

Do we even know what true capitalism looks like?
Free of gov’t intervention
Free of The Federal Reserve
Free of Wall Street
No one alive knows what true capitalism looks like.

What would life look like without lobbying?
Lobbying is political prostitution.
Lobbying Congress should become punishable by the death penalty.
Why? Doing so is about protecting your very way of life, hence your freedom.

What about borrowing money interest free?
How is it possible?
Congress has constitutional authority to create money, they can issue just enough for commerce.
Interest payments, rent for the use of money, don’t have to be a form of slavery.

Solutions:
Learn to barter for goods/services with neighbors.
Before you buy new, look for good used.
Craigslist, buy local.
Look for locally owned credit union.
Stop the demand for cheap, corrupt money and the supply will dry up.

Why is discussing our money so taboo in the workplace? Listen to people’s conversations about their pay and you’ll learn a lot about yourself. Your rate of pay is how much money you think you’re worth.
